Is this 100% ad-free online radio? Yup, for the most part — except for the sponsors you see. Videos play in YouTube’s own player, so YouTube’s ads apply and we are not allowed to skip them. But since we aren’t in charge of that, and in practice most of what gets posted here plays straight through without any commercials at all, we feel comfortable saying this is 100% ad-free online radio!

How is this different? Well, other than being 100% ad free online radio that doesn’t track you because we had our own version of Google Analytics built, and not playing annoying ads in-between songs like Pandora, TuneIn Radio, Sonos Radio or SiriusXM, I guess the most unique thing is how the music is curated & no evil algorithms. Just music, like when MTV ruled the airwaves and you stayed up for 120 Minutes. Or like the college radio station in your town, where you never know what’s going to play next, but you know it’ll be cool or interesting. We built Kanada Radio by mistake… Enjoy!
